ملخص
This research has as aim to assess the family members living with an elderly person in the same home regarding their knowledge attitude and behavior in dealing with him. Sampling Method: The sample consisted of 50 family members that are car givers to an ambulatory non handicapped elderly person living with him in the same home and responsible for his safety and care. These were interviewed while accompanying their old related to the geriatric out-patient. Clinic at ain shams university hospital. They answered the questionnaire containing 19 items related to the family members. Knowledge regarding their understanding of aging the physical and psycho-social needs of the elderly person.
