The ICT-KM group of the CGIAR had built a static web page KS Toolkit which was very valuable. But over time, it became clear that there needed to be a '''more flexible framework''' to which '''many could contribute'''. The '''KS wiki toolkit project''' was born from the idea that '''user generated contributions''' using a wiki could be a valuable next step. This project is a continuation of other NGO efforts and interest around knowledge sharing and recognizes it grows on the shoulders of those who have been doing this work for years. The ICT-KM group partnered with Nancy White of Full Circle Associates to create the wiki. After participation in the first KS Workshop, FAO decided to join the project.

=الرسالة والأهداف[عدل]

The ICT-KM group of the CGIAR had built a static web page KS Toolkit which was very valuable. But over time, it became clear that there needed to be a more flexible framework to which many could contribute. The KS wiki toolkit project was born from the idea that user generated contributions using a wiki could be a valuable next step. This project is a continuation of other NGO efforts and interest around knowledge sharing and recognizes it grows on the shoulders of those who have been doing this work for years. The ICT-KM group partnered with Nancy White of Full Circle Associates to create the wiki. After participation in the first KS Workshop, FAO decided to join the project.

وقد تلاقينا معهم في إستشعار إشكالية المصطلحات ووجدناهم أنشأوا معجم Glossary لمعاني الألفاظ المتداولة لتوحيد مدلول الألفاظ[9].

كما تلاقينا معهم في فكرة عمل ورش عمل لتعليم التشارك المعرفي (ورش العمل التي نسهلها عن التحرير في ويكيتعمر بتقنية الويكي)[10].

وقد لاحظنا أن طريقة مواقع برامج الويكي التي نستخدمها في ويكيتعمر أحد أدوات مشاركة المعرفة التي يرشحها مشروع أدوات تشارك المعرفة Knowledge Sharing Tools - KST كأداة محتملة لتشارك المعرفة من ضمن العديد من الأدوات (إختاير الأداة يعتمد على الإحتياجات). وهي الطرقة التي فضلنا العمل بها في ويكيتعمر.
