About the MCOP programme[عدل]
Medical Crises in Older People was a 5 year project funded by a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) programme grant, hosted in the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham, between 2008 and 2013.
Project workstreams[عدل]
The project comprised three workstreams, concerning the delivery of comprehensive geriatric assessment to the following groups of patients:
- frail older people discharged from acute medical units
- older people in acute hospitals with co-morbid mental health problems
- residents of care homes
