There is no legal provision for workmen’s compensation, nor is there in existence even the most primitive form of social provision such as old age pensions, unemployment benefit, &c.



They suffer also greatly from the standpoint of health and have no hope of any compensation in the case of industrial injury, or of help in their old age.
