ISupport
WHO developed iSupport, an online training programme for caregivers of people with dementia, to help caregivers to:
understand the impact of dementia;
deal with challenging behaviours;
provide good care;
and take care of themselves.
Caregivers can tailor the programme to their personal needs and select as many lessons as they want. All lessons consist of several exercises and caregivers receive immediate feedback as they work through them. At the end of each lesson there is a relaxation exercise.
This generic online programme is now ready to be adapted and tested in countries worldwide.
