Users may choose to receive one or more of the following seven reports (follow the
links below for more details):
- Number of referrals per 1000 patients by specialty (page 6)
- Number of referrals per 1000 patients by type (page 6)
- High Consultation Usage (page 7)
- High Medication Usage (page 8)
- Percentage of Omeprazole/Lansoprazole in total PPIs (page 8)
- Emergency admissions by condition (page 9)
- Childhood immunisation uptake rates (page 9).
Percentage of Omeprazole/Lansoprazole in total PPIs
Percentage of Omeprazole/Lansoprazole in total PPIs reports on the total instances of the specified drug codes as a percentage of the BNF category Proton Pump Inhibitors.
Report Format
The practice-based output comprises two reports:
- One which lists all PPIs based on BNF category.
- One which lists Omeprazole/Lansoprazole based on drug code only.
The community-wide output comprises a ratio bar chart by practice.
Report Criteria
The following workflow is used to produce the report:
- Count the total instances of the BNF category: Proton Pump Inhibitors.
- Count the total instances of specified Omeprazole/Lansoprazole drug codes (See Appendix (page 11)).
- Calculate the ratio of Omeprazole/Lansoprazole to total Proton Pump Inhibitors.
